Cecilia Delatori “Hugely talented” The List

“...inventive comic songs that blend astute observation and downright silliness...” Three Weeks

Cecilia performed to capacity houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012 in “An Austrian and someone from Slough” and 2011 in “An Austrian, an Italian and someone from Slough.” Sadly she was the one from Slough. She began stand up musical comedy in 2009 and has already been a featured artist at top spoken word events such as Apples and Snakes BAC and Bang Said The Gun with her “ditzy musical story telling.” She has performed on the bill alongside Arthur Smith, Ronnie Golden, Lee Nelson and Shazia Mirza at the Leytonstone Comedy Club.

Cecilia’s writing/performing credits include Scotsman Fringe First winning one-woman show “Tonight I’m Entertaining Richard Gere” which was also nominated for a London Fringe Award and toured to Ireland and the USA: “sparkling one-woman comedy” (WhatsOnStage.com) “Beyonce, Stop Punching Robbie!” premiered with great success at the The Gilded Balloon and then at Leicester Square Theatre. “Spectacles, Bibles, Inflatable Bras” also a one-woman show premiered at The Pleasance, Edinburgh and subsequent sell out success on tour: “Lady Macbeth Firmed my Buttocks” a comedy written by Cecilia and performed by four actresses including Cecilia and sell out success at The Gilded Balloon: “Teresa” for the “Inner Voices” series on BBC Radio 4 and comedy sketches for the TBA Comedy Sketch Club at The Gate, Notting Hill. She has played a journalist in “Without Motive” ITV, and a Bristolian mum in a Radio commercial for Coca Cola.
