Michael Chidgey


Michael has recently finished his second year of studying BA English and Theatre Studies at the University of Warwick. As an actor, Michael holds distinctions up to grade 8 in LAMDA acting examinations, and has performed in (as well as having directed and produced) multiple productions prior to and during his time at Warwick. The highlights include performing in the debut production of newly written play ‘Conviction’ (formerly known as ’23.5 Hours’) by American playwright Carey Crim during it’s brief London run at the St. James Theatre (the show is now about to launch on Broadway), accompanying Musical Theatre Warwick’s production of ‘RENT’ to NSDF 2014, and being elected President of Warwick University’s Shakespeare Society. Michael is currently acting in/helping direct emerging theatre company The Human Animal's Fringe production of Simon Stephens' 'Wastwater'.
