SUMMARY

Accessible yet still in-depth, funny and disturbingly ironic. The Sensemaker and Drop the Gogo are two short pieces of physical theatre examining the labour market in our interconnected world.

The Sensemaker shows the inner turmoil of a woman as she tries to meet the impossible expectations of a synthetic voice. Smartly dressed, standing behind a phone, panicked looks and jerky motions appear, as she is slowly stretched to her limits. 'Please show us the full extent of your motivation and your energy'… Let the job interview begin.

Drop the Gogo takes you straight into a night club, where six go-go dancers start their shift, each standing on their podium. They perform their tightly orchestrated routine with dedication. However, when they start questioning their dreams and ambitions, one thing is for sure: the strip-tease won't be the one you're expecting.
