“A brand new disaster comedy smashes the cliches of amateur dramatics, gives them a jumble, and stabs what's left with a wobbly prop dagger”

Questing Vole Productions

SUMMARY

'All's Well...' features the first performance of a ‘lost’ Shakespearian 'masterpiece' directed by the unhinged ego of Chris, the stuff student actors' nightmares are made of, played with relish by Jack Blackburn. This debut play from improv comedian Joel Lipsom (Impronauts: “highly enjoyable, highly energetic” - Varsity) was written after “too much boring academic study of ridiculously OTT revenge tragedies”. Whilst this is certainly ridiculous and OTT, it promises not to be dull, featuring egomaniacal actors, unexpected musical interludes, and many, many things going wrong in iambic pentameter. It will attract the interest of fans of the Bard, fans of new comic writing, and fans of theatre (both the good and the bad).
