Sailing on from their steam-powered tour of theatres, woodlands, great halls and gardens across the North West; multi-award winning community arts organisation MATE Productions return to the Fringe for the 6th time with their spectacular re-imagining of this pirate classic. Directed and produced by MATE’s Artistic Director Gaynor La Rocca, with original live music by Taran Harris, this nautical odyssey features steampunk inspired design, explosive percussion, stunning choreography, swashbuckling battles and a disreputable crew of marauders, actors, dancers, singers and musicians.

Established in 2000, MATE Productions is a theatre and community arts organisation based in Merseyside, led by Artistic Director Gaynor La Rocca and a team of creative professionals. The company specialises in epic storytelling of literary classics, spectacular site specific work in parks, woodlands, great halls, museums and docklands, and socially important work in community venues such as pubs, community centres, nursing homes and schools.
