SUMMARY

Music is a source of adventure for singer-songwriter Joanna Wallfisch who is heading to the Fringe with her pushbike after an epic 1,100 mile solo ride down the Pacific Coast of the USA.

Previously she has worked with the UK charity Songbound, which develops children’s choirs in India and creates employment opportunities for local musicians (see https://vimeo.com/193161694 and https://songbound.com).

Her Fringe show, The Great Song Cycle Song Cycle, is inspired by her 1,154-mile cycle ride down the Pacific Coast Highway carrying little but a ukulele and a loop pedal (see trailer here).

Now she is creating an album (which will be her fourth) and writing a book about the experience as well as sharing the music onstage at TheSpace venues from 13 to 25 August.

Admission: £8.50(£6.50)

TheSpace @ Surgeon’s Hall (Venue 53) Nicholson Street Edinburgh EH8 9DW
