Bristol Revunions

SUMMARY

Since their first Fringe appearance in 1953 - "Bristol Cream" - the Bristol Revunions have been a force to be reckoned with in the sketch comedy world. After a 25-year hiatus due to their president running away to Paraguay with all the money and jokes, they return for their 7th consecutive year at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a unique blend of absurdist sketches, black comedy, satire, meta-comedy and occasional mistakes. CREAM explores the nature of performing at the Fringe; Revunions experience the difficulties of putting on a show, each performer tempted by his or her own dreams before realising that together is the only way forward.

The oldest performing arts group in the University of Bristol, Revunions features a cast and crew who are well-versed in comedy and performance. Performing all year round in Bristol, they tour around British universities, treading the boards alongside Cambridge Footlights, as well as Lolly Adefope, Minor Delays and Ellie White.
