SUMMARY

Howarth Village Hall welcomes you to their weekly Women's Aid Meetings. Every Wednesday. 6-7.

Featuring Jane, the woefully under qualified group leader; Tony, who finds sexual gratification in daytime television; Grace, her deadpan warden, who sings Karaoke every Friday; Isabel, whose growing baby bump is struggling to fit behind the Tesco till; and the mysterious Helen, who always arrives with paint on her hands...

The first of two new plays from Plain Heroines, Aoife Kennan's Madwomen in the Attic has been reworked for the fringe following a successful Cambridge preview run. Loosely based on characters from Brontë novels, exploring issues including mental health and domestic abuse, this play has been described as a "masterful example of theatre." (Varsity)

Admission: £8.50(£6.50)
