“Edinburgh comedy award nominee returns to the Fringe with brand new stand-up”

After an incredible year in which he was nominated for the Edinburgh comedy award for Best Newcomer, appeared on Live from the BBC and Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store, Larry Dean returns to the Fringe with brand new stand-up show Farcissist. Off the back of a break-up and swirling in the introspection that such a change brings, gallus Glaswegian Larry is beginning to think about what it means to be him. People keep telling him he’s changed, but he’s not quite sure whether that’s a good or bad thing. Who was he before?

Determined to grow into one of the people he respects, for Larry that means either emulating the King of Rock and Roll (Elvis) or the Queen of Glasgow (his gran). Maybe the answer lies somewhere in between? Join one of UK comedy’s finest young talents as he steps out by himself and tries to work out just exactly who that is.

Since being crowned Scottish Comedian Of The Year at just 23, Larry’s star has continued to rise and rise, with his Sell Out debut Edinburgh Fringe show Out Now! receiving widespread critical and audience acclaim as well as a Fosters Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer. Following his success in Edinburgh, Larry brought the show to London in January 2016 for a series of packed out performances at The Soho Theatre to the Melbourne Comedy Festival where he was one of the standout performers on the Allstars Supershow Opening Night Gala. He followed up his success in Melbourne with runs at both the Perth and Sydney comedy festivals.
