“A mildly ludicrous exploration of a ‘creative' workshop”

AART is mildly ludicrous exploration of a ‘Creative workshop’. Art therapy, self-examination and staying in ‘the NOW’ are examined through a variety of presentations and exercises. Within this, Mikey (Andrew Bridge) draws light on a range of topics that challenge the notion of being ‘an artist’ including the relationship between the creative mind and mental health issues–a subject close to Andrew, inspired by his own diagnosis of ADHD, all from the confines of his ill-fitting shorts.

AART was selected in the SKINNY’s ‘Best of the Fringe 2015’ article and featured on BBC Scotland and Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe during a limited ‘Work in progress’ run 2015. Since last year the show has continued to develop while touring including Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival and Brighton Fringe 2016. AART premieres at the Edinburgh Fringe 2016 as Andrew’s first debut hour show.
