SUMMARY

‘It’s a matter of belief. And that belief, if we let it, might mend a broken world’.

It is 1945. A young airman jumps to certain death from his burning aircraft. His last words are to a girl he has never met: 'I love you June'. Following an angelic blunder, caused by a classic English pea-souper, Peter Carter miraculously survives and finds June in the flesh. But, things are not so simple. To stay alive, Peter is forced to take himself, and the heavens, to the Universal Court of Appeal.

Classic Ealing comedy meets quirky physical theatre and song in this playful adaptation of the Powell and Pressburger film. An ensemble of pyjama-clad evacuees dream together in KCS Theatre Company's new production, with live music from the period. A toy theatre comes to life in this soaring romance, caught between our world and the next.

Admission: £9.50(£7.50)
