The Oxford Revue has selected the cream of new student comedy acts, both sketch and stand-up, and now that cream is ready to be deep-fried in the searing hot vegetable oil of Fringe audience appreciation. Like all Edinburgh pub fare, The Revue Presents is pleasing to the senses and will make you feel a little bit guilty.
3-6 AUGUST: RHYS MALIPHANT & ALEX FOX
RHYS MALIPHANT
Words. You're reading them. But are you really reading them? Let Rhys Maliphant sculpt your tiny fettered minds with the caress of his patented word-chisel, the decades old art of ‘poetry’. Not for the faint of heart or those who take objection to an excessive amount of jokes about poo.
ALEX FOX
Alex Fox can't deal with people, so he's created a cabal of fictitious characters, each more troubled than the last. Alex has poured all of his flaws into these individuals, leaving a shell of a man behind. What’s left of him can be found repeating Ian McKellan impressions over and over again. In the dark.
