SUMMARY

In 1284, 130 children vanished from the town of Hamelin.

Only one child remained.

Young people from across Scotland have come together to create a new rock musical, inspired by the tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin and more recent tales of children lost in time. Performing an original score, with film, live performance and physical theatre, this talented group of young people draw the audience in with the traditional tale, adding twists and turns and delving deeper into the tale than you will have ever been before!

Youth Music Theatre Scotland work with young people under the age of 25 throughout Scotland on a range of performance, workshop and new-writing projects every year. Hamelin: The Last Child is one of four productions YMTS will be presenting at Edinburgh Academy this summer as part of the 2013 Fringe.

Admission: £10(£8)
