SUMMARY

Carlo Collodi’s coming of age tale is retold through stunning lifelike puppetry, moving urban sets and engrossing digital soundscapes. In this modern adaptation, the much-loved story of the child-like puppet and his misadventures is plucked from its innocent Tuscan home and presented in a modern, turbulent and urban setting. ReShape Theatre presents a heart-warming and inventive take on a timeless classic at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012.

ReShape Theatre seeks to encourage theatre-making and artistic development from young people embarking on careers in performing arts. Utilising the collaborative talents of up-and-coming directors, designers, and actors, we are seeking to create exceptional, original and beautiful theatre.

ReShape Theatre is all about new talent, like that of our writer. Born in Italy and raised in London, Paul Collins is in his final year at the University of Edinburgh. He creates innovative and original adaptations of stories, many from his childhood.
