SUMMARY

Shooting the White Eagle is a new piece of immersive theatre which asks the audience to participate as background artists, technical crew or to just sit back and relax. Using verbatim accounts and epic theatre devices this production mixes the fictional filmmaking and petty politics which arise on the set of “The White Eagle” with the testimonials of Gulag survivors to dark comic effect. Shooting the White Eagle gives the audience choices on their level of participation whilst confronting them with the stark realities of life in a Gulag
