A Stone's Throw

Sat 13th Aug 2011

“She threw a stone at the sun… everything went dark…”

So Far Productions

A brave, young girl embarks on an adventure to put the shattered sun back together again. Follow her through misty mountains, sticky swamps and dark, damp forests; meeting a host of weird and wonderful creatures from the giant sloth to the beautiful moon bird along the way. Delightful storytelling, shadow puppetry and imaginative movement bring this enchanting tale to life.

Winner of STaG’s (Student Theatre at Glasgow) New Works Festival this devised piece is inspired by the poetry of Shel Silverstein. Using a whole host of magical characters both children and adults will be dazzled and enchanted. Suitable for all ages. www.a-stones-throw.com
