SUMMARY

A bleak comedy about youth, relationships and bed baths.

James will never leave his hospital bed. Battling boredom, bed bound and terminally ill with Leukaemia he finds his best placebo in Freddy, a fellow patient recovering from major heart surgery. Take Two Every Four Hours is a snapshot of two people stuck in the waiting room of life and fighting to hold on to a shred of normality

Vertical Line Theatre Company put on new writing and classic texts. Working as a platform to support graduates in the first few months after training. The company is brimming with fresh talent and brings a brand new voice to the everyday experience.

This is the company’s first performance at the Fringe. The idea for Take Two Every Four Hours, spawned over two years ago, has culminated in a raw, youthful show that twists the taboo of being a resident patient.

Written and performed by Henry Regan and Ross Stanley
