What You Will

Mon 15th – Sat 20th Aug 2011

“this youthful company is noted for shows of professionalism, energy and entertainment”

Shrewsbury School

Shakespeare’s ravishing comedy Twelfth Night transformed

into music and song.

A journey, storm and shipwreck. Viola, a loving sister, and her brother Sebastian are separated on a hostile shore. What You Will is a story of lost love, unrequited love and the joy of hope restored.

Consistently one of the freshest amateur companies at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and with a Fringe First reputation, this youthful company is noted for shows of professionalism, energy and entertainment. Shrewsbury School, with composer/musical director John Moore and director Peter Fanning, have brought numerous student productions to the Fringe, including Jekyll!, The Time Machine, Harry! and The Bubble (‘Magnificent’ Three Weeks).

These shows have been staged at London theatres, including the Linbury Studio Theatre, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and the Royal College of Music.

The company aims to present new writing of quality, carefully framed for the voices and talents of a youthful cast.

‘With its deft, light touch... this brilliant piece of musical theatre... both

echoes and recreates the original work, leading us into a world which

we know and, delightfully, do not know’
