SUMMARY

A husband and wife in a traditional and stable relationship. Christmas family photos and annual vacations to Disneyland. Conservative America fights to save the ideal of family as the way to maintain authenticity in a changing world. Yet how authentic is this ideal? 15 students from two universities come together to explore America's families through personal narratives and physical movement. Trained by Tectonic Theatre Project founding member Andy Paris, students of Bucknell and Western Washington Universities dissect our assumptions, create new meanings and fearlessly find new forms to redefine family and everything family should be.
