KILTER is a collaborative theatre company. We make confronting theatre that responds to and seeks to change the world around us.

At Edinburgh Fringe 2016 KILTER are working with Bloody Deeds Productions to present the award-winning play, "Bit of Sunshine."

Our work is both risky and formally inventive. KILTER was born out of the ambition to create work that finds new forms of expression, to not settle for the forms we are familiar with, and to not make work that we necessarily know how to achieve straight away. We think humour, playfulness and theatrical inventiveness are important.

There is a strong visual and physical strand to our work, and collaborating with performers, musicians, designers, artists and technicians is central to how we create.

KILTER was established in 2016 by Ed Theakston and Katie Coull. Ed and Katie met while training at East 15 Acting School, London.
